Merry and Bright

Hello my lovelies, and happy holidays! We are feeling the holiday spirit all around my home and at the SeneGence office, with Christmas being less than a week away. Last week, SeneGence hosted its holiday open house party, and it was a real joy to see some familiar Distributor faces and share warm wishes for the holiday. We also hosted guests from the EliHome, which is an organization here in OrangeCounty that gives assistance to women and children in need. Our employees and Distributors graciously brought in new toys to donate to the organization, and the Make Sense Foundation presented a check to the EliHome. Thank you so much to those who made a contribution. I love that SeneGence is full of compassionate and caring Distributors and employees. I hope that our donation helps make the holiday a lot brighter for many children this year. Here I am with our guests from the EliHome, presenting a donation to them:

 …and so did Dad!

On Friday and Saturday, Ben and I spent time at William’s school enjoying holiday activities and watching the school Christmas concert. We each had a proud parent moment watching our little one perform in front of a crowd. We were sure to capture the memories so we can appreciate this time, when William’s all grown up.

It was a wonderful weekend of family time and Christmas festivities. I am very much reminded of the real reason for the season, which is not to get caught up with presents and parties, but to spend time with your family and friends, making new memories. I hope that you and your loved ones are able to make some great new memories this Christmas. With a career as a SeneGence Distributor, you will be able to ensure you have time to enjoy the company of your friends and family. If you know someone who would appreciate this aspect of our career, share the opportunity with them 🙂

I wish you and yours the merriest, brightest Christmas. As always, choose to live life in love and abundance…then work for it!

SeneGence Vegas Round Up!

Last weekend, I had the pleasure of working a SeneGence booth at the Cowboy Christmas Show during the Las Vegas Rodeo with Distributors, Crown Princess Sheila Young and Queen Jeri Taylor-Swade. The Las Vegas Rodeo, or National Finals Rodeo (NFR), is the premier rodeo event of the entire United States, with millions of people attending it each year. It was an incredibly productive trip, as we were able to share SeneGence with hundreds of people. Of course, SeneGence products were a huge hit and people were excited to try LipSense and see that it just doesn’t budge. And, I was able to meet many new people from across the U.S., including a few from my home state, Oklahoma! Since I grew up on my family’s farm in Oklahoma, it was great reminiscing about riding horses and feeding the cows with them. Here I am with a few of my new friends and fellow Okies:

After the show, Sheila surprised me with tickets to the Shania Twain concert! It was a very well produced, entertaining, and wholesome show. I had so much fun.

And, when mom’s away…the boys will play! While I was in Las Vegas, Ben took William to a birthday party that had a golf theme. William had a great time pitching, driving, and putting.

Then the two of them went to the mall (perhaps to prepare for Christmas? J). While they were there, my sweet guys were thinking of me and took time to craft some cute boxes for mommy.

It was wonderful being able to meet and make connections with people from all over the country this past weekend. As a SeneGence Distributor, you not only have the opportunity to share products that really work, but you can gain new friends and create new contacts with people who you might not have had the chance to meet otherwise. Many SeneGence Distributors have made life-long friends through this career, as I have. The SeneGence career provides many financial and professional opportunities, but something not as often shared is the opportunity to be a part of a strong, ever growing base of friends who are always willing and happy to help each other. It’s rare to find a career in which your co-workers want to see you grow and thrive, and are not only interested in their own advancement. If you join SeneGence, you will be a part of a group of strong women who help each other learn and grow. Within the company, we call these friends SeneSisters, and once you join the SeneGence family, you are welcomed into the SeneSisterhood with open arms. We are all choosing to live life in love and abundance…and willing to work for it; join us in our journey!

Army Pink LipSense Launch

Last Tuesday, I traveled up to Los Angeles with some of my Marketing and PR team members to attend and participate in the launch of SeneGence’s gorgeous new LipSense shade, Army Pink! The event was hosted by Army pink and emceed by the Twilight Saga’s Boo Boo Stewart and his sister, actress Fivel Stewart. A portion of the proceeds from this new color will initially go to The American Red Cross to benefit Hurricane Sandy relief efforts. It was a fun night centered around helping charitable causes and celebrating Army Pink’s and SeneGence’s wonderful partnership. Independent Distributor and Princess, Renee Stewart, was there to give gorgeous SeneBlends makeovers!

Here I am with Army Pink’s Ron Roecker:

ImageBoo Boo and his sister Fivel did a fantastic job representing Army Pink. It’s wonderful to see young people that have a passion for helping others and making the world a better place. These two are as gorgeous, smart, and hardworking as their mother, Renee!

ImageAfter the event, we went to Pink’s famous hot dog stand and enjoyed some gourmet hot dogs. I ordered the “Martha Stewart”, which had tomatoes, bacon, sauerkraut, and relish; it was quite the culinary masterpiece! Here I am with Marketing and PR Coordinator, Michelle Gibellino:

ImageOne of my goals when I first founded SeneGence was to use the company as a vehicle to give back in any way I could. This remains one of my main goals to this day. I am proud to say that SeneGence has been successful in its endeavors to help those in need. Our sister foundation, The Make Sense Foundation, is a non-profit organization that gives to woman and children in crisis. Since its inception in 2002, the Make Sense Foundation has been able to help countless women and children, largely thanks to the efforts and involvement of all of our Independent Distributors. Did you know, that with every new Distributor that signs up with SeneGence, a $5 donation is made to the Make Sense Foundation, and with every bottle of incredible MakeSense Foundation liquid makeup sold, a portion of the sale goes to this charitable cause? Giving back is so near and dear to the mission of SeneGence, which is why we offer products that not only work, but that benefit the greater good. For example, our Kiss For a Cause LipSense had great success in raising money for the American Breast Cancer Foundation, and we project that our Army Pink LipSense will be just as successful in raising money for The American Red Cross. Hurricane Sandy did so much damage, leaving many without the necessities that most of us take for granted. It is my hope that the sale of Army Pink LipSense will do much good in helping these people get back on their feet. Thank you for supporting these causes.

As a SeneGence Distributor, you have the opportunity to represent a company with moral integrity. As I shared, charitable giving is a cornerstone of SeneGence’s foundation. If you are a Distributor or are considering becoming one, you can be sure that you are, or will be, a representative of a company that has a heart, a conscience, and compassion. Choose to live life in love and abundance…then work for it!
